First Gulf Bank’s new Ajman branch has been officially inaugurated earlier this week. The branch has adopted the new corporate colors—blue and burgundy—in its design. It ensures consistency in branch design across all emirates, and is in line with the Bank’s overall strategy of ensuring customer service efficiency and privacy. The new branch is located in the Insurance Building on Khalifa Street.

The Bank operates five branches, and has further plans to expand its branch network this year. First Gulf Bank is also focusing on enhancing its customer service facilities and improving remote banking solutions. The Bank has recently entered the retail market with two products on Personal Loans and Credit Cards, and will soon launch other various products and services.

First Gulf Bank’s profit in the first quarter 2003 increased by 76 percent, compared to the same period last year, recording an 27.7 million Emirati dirhams profit. This Branch network expansion, and heightened customer services are evidence of the Bank’s commitment to "Putting the First into Banking," according to a company press release. — (menareport.com)
