Bahrain will host the first annual 'Life and Style Arabia 2000' show from November 7 to 11 at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre.
Top manufacturers, retailers and designers of luxury goods from around the world will showcase their products at the event, which will be aimed at the 'top end' of the Gulf consumer market, according to the Bahrain Tribune. The event, to be organized by the Arabian Exhibition Management (AEM), was announced during Jewelry Arabia in November of 1999. The show will run in parallel with Jewelry Arabia (JA) 2000, the Middle East's most prominent jewelry show. The JA 2000 show will mark the 9th Middle East International gold, Jewelry, clock and watch exhibition. The State of Bahrain is believed to be an ideal location for Jewelry Arabia, due to its physical connection to Saudi Arabia - the region's predominant jewelry consumer.
Fawzi Al Shehabi, Sales Director for AEM commented: "We have invited the world's top manufacturers, retailers and designers of luxury goods and so far the response has been extremely positive. The aim of Life and Style Arabia 2000 is to introduce these international manufacturers to one of the world's prime luxury goods markets."
Many world-renowned manufacturers have already committed to the exclusive event, which will feature: silverware, collectibles, tableware, stationery, artwork, glassware, and home decor items. In addition to tangible goods, the event will provide major service providers with the opportunity to show-off their offerings. Among the service sectors to be included: property sales, financial management, consulting, hotel and leisure facilities and resorts. Bahrain's top auto-dealer announced that it would showcase its new Jaguar at the event. Manufacturing and retailing giants will also be welcomed at the event to display luxury vehicles, boats and planes. Al Hawaj, Khazana and Jashanmal have already booked space at the highly anticipated exhibit.
