Firearms Training Systems Incorporated (FATS) recently announced two new contracts to supply the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Navy with small arms, antitank weapons and light and heavy machineguns for use in both stationary and simulated shipboard scenarios. The value of the contracts combined is approximately $2.6 million with delivery scheduled to be completed by July 2003.

The shipboard scenarios will be accomplished through the integration of FATS simulators with a motion platform and 3-D scenarios produced using computer generated imagery (CGI) sea states.

FATS is a producer of interactive simulation systems designed to provide training in the handling and use of small and supporting arms for law enforcement, military and commercial applications. — (menareport.com)
