Oil exports from southern Iraq have been recovered lately, following the completion of repair works on the pipeline, which goes to the Gulf sea-port. A long period of neglect and lack of proper maintenance have damaged of the pipeline in a number of areas.
This situation has caused a decrease in the exports level of oil from Iraq. Al Hayat reported, however, that currently, after the completion of works and with the improvement in the wheather conditions oil exports has considerably improved.
