Expo Centre Sharjah has implemented a wireless communications network integrated with mobile computing systems at its new facility. Implemented by Bond Communications, a Symbol Business partner in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the technology allows Expo Centre Sharjah to manage its events help exhibitors track visitors and retrieve and manage sales leads more effectively.

Exhibitors can use the Symbol handheld computers’ built-in barcode readers to scan visitor badges, allowing them to track and instantly identify visitors to a stand, or register delegates. Because of the system’s tight integration with other back-end systems, exhibitors can enter notes into the handheld computer, and automatically link it with the visitors’ registration details for later follow-up for effective lead retrieval.

Bond Communications is a division of Bond Trading, which has regional presence in the Middle East and Levant. Bond Communications is a reputable Turnkey solution provider/integrator in the UAE and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
