The decision-making process needs to be drastically changed to ensure “real” economic development of the State, said Director of Kuwait University’s (KU) Accounting Department, Dr. Sadeq Al-Bassam, reported Al-Anba newspaper. Indicating Kuwait is Iraq’s “commercial entrance” whenever it is exporting or importing goods, Al-Bassam added, “Increasing Kuwait’s storage capability will, therefore, better its economy.” Global indicators show Kuwait’s gross production as “continuously growing” and one of the factors responsible for this is the reconstruction of Iraq, he added.
