Bahrain's economy still too heavily dependent on oil sector despite all efforts to diversify, claimed a top Bahraini economist. Revenues from oil do not sustainable and the government should, thus, strengthen the economic diversification program, University of Bahrain economic research unit head Dr Jasim Husain Ali told the GDN.
"By regional standards, Bahrain's economy is well-diversified," he told the newspaper.
