Germany’s MultiSell Technology has finalized an agreement with UK-based Aantaris Business Corporation to launch the Impulse In-venue entertainment system to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

The strategic alliance aims at setting up a new joint venture in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) targeting the regional markets. “We decided to launch the system here as Dubai is the regional hub for new technology and have a high growth rate in the hospitality and entertainment sector,” said Managing Director of Aantaris, Matt Davis.

The system to be marketed as MultiSell Impulse, is an entertainment platform which enables clubbers and visitors to instantly interact with each other, the DJ and the venue management by sending SMS/MMS messages from their mobile phones to a giant screen fixed at the outlet wall, ceiling or above the bar.

MultiSell Impulse works like a giant chat room. Each message is manually mediated before being displayed on the screen. First level by a software reacting on certain words and second level it has to pass through a mediator monitoring all messages.

For the outlet, advertising or promotions are displayed full-screen in-between chat. Promotions can be configured online or at the control center. All mobile phone numbers are stored in a database for future promotional use by the venue. The system already has a user base of 147 venues in the UK. — (menareport.com)
