Etisalat Academy holds graduation ceremony of technical diplomas

The Etisalat Academy held a graduation ceremony Wednesday, June 11, for 200 United Arab Emirates (UAE) National technicians who have completed the preliminary training courses for the first and second classes of the technical diploma and the second class of the Information Technology (IT) diploma.  

 

Graduates who have excelled in different scientific and sports competitions during the 15-month long training program were also honoured. Mohammed Sultan Al-Qadi, general manager Etisalat Ras Al-Khaimah and chairman of Etisalat’s Technical Trainee’s Committee, stressed that the Etisalat Academy is the first such academy in the Middle East to deliver the technical diploma.  

 

Modules covered technical sciences, computing, mathematics, English, management and customer service skills. Trainees were also taught a number of courses in GSM and Fibre technology. A series of cultural and social activities were also held in conjunction with specialised bodies in the UAE and overseas. 

 

These training courses implemented by the Academy are part of the continued efforts exerted by Etisalat to develop and train National skilled professionals in information technology and telecommunications. — (menareport.com)
