Dubai-based airline Emirates has decided to sponsor Italian footbal giants AC Milan, holders of the UEFA Champions League. "Emirates signed the three year sponsorship deal at the AC Milan training ground and the familiar 'Fly Emirates' signage will now be displayed at AC Milan's San Siro stadium," the airline said in a statement late Wednesday.

According to Reuters, Emirates also sponsors Paris Saint Germain Football Club and Hamburger SV, while in 2004 Emirates and Arsenal Football Club signed the biggest club sponsorship in English football history.
