Emirates SkyCargo is adding a new destination to its China services. Responding to the escalating needs of customers who serve the Chinese economy, Emirates SkyCargo is starting once-weekly freighter services to the port city of Dalian, the gateway to Northeast China.

The new route marks SkyCargo's second destination in mainland China. It already operates four weekly freighter frequencies to Shanghai, one of which now is being extended to Dalian. The new service is set to start on December 17 and will be operated with a Boeing B747-400F with the capacity to carry 120 tons of cargo.

As with Shanghai, Emirates SkyCargo will ferry machinery, parts and raw materials to Dalian, supporting the industrial base, teaming with enterprises engaged in digital audio and video, petrochemicals, diesel locomotives, machine tools, refined steel, bearings, pharmaceuticals, new building materials, furniture, garments and glassware.

Dalian's exports find ready markets in the United States, major European markets, Australia, and Japan – all covered by Emirates' extensive route network that spans 71 cities in 50 countries. — (menareport.com)
