Dubai-based Emirates Airline has opened a new office in Western Switzerland and expanded its team in the country, stated a press release.
Since Zurich services started 10 years ago, Emirates' business had grown considerably. Demand from French-speaking Switzerland had increased strongly, and the Geneva area now brings Emirates a big slice of its Swiss earnings, said Emirates Area Manager Switzerland and Austria, Adnan Kazim.
Emirates Switzerland has seen rapid growth in business with the Geneva-based United Nations, and 12 UN departments there have contracted it as preferred airline for diplomatic and business travel from November 1, 2003, one reason for the opening of the new offices. — (menareport.com)
