Workmen put the finishing touches to the Emirates Airline exhibition stand at the ITB travel trade fair which opened in Berlin Friday.
Shaped like one of the 45 Airbus A380 Superjumbos which Emirates has on order, the stand dominates the ITB show and took 20 men 10 days to erect. It is made of steel and weighs some 30 tonnes, is fully air-conditioned
and has 2 floors including a majlis for VIP visitors.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman of the Emirates Group, leads the delegation of senior Emirates staff who will be meeting buyers, travel agents, tour operators, hoteliers, and government tourism officials during the next five days of the show.
