In commemoration of its 30th Anniversary, Emirates Bank takes up its initial celebration by inviting 5 leading UAE Charities to join in their festive occasion and offered to each of them, 300 passes to Global Village.

The free passes were offered to the following UAE Charities: Rashid Pediatric Therapy Centre; Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services; Al Noor Centre for Children with Special Needs; Bait Al- Khair Society and Manzil Charity School.

Mr. Sulaiman Al-Mazroui, Chief Manager Group Affairs at Emirates Bank commented on the occasion by saying, “Emirates Bank aims to give back to the community, in appreciation of the society’s contribution to its success, keeping it alive and ensuring its constant spot at the top of its league for 30 years.  Emirates Bank has plans to help and support those in need, as well as offer opportunities to the younger generation with the due back up.  Many charity-based initiatives are due to be launched during the course of this special year.  In commencing our year of giving, these Global Village passes are just a small gift to a few of the hardworking charities which will hopefully bring a smile to all those concerned.”

Emirates Bank, the UAE’s leading retail bank, put itself forward for the second consecutive year as one of the main sponsors of the Global Village.  With ATM machines and a Cash & Deposit machine strategically positioned in the Global Village vicinity, Emirates Bank’s banking services are conveniently and readily available to both customers and retailers in the area.

Following the success of last year’s Global Village Emirates Bank branch, the bank is due to open a full-fledged permanent bank branch at the entrance of the Global Village in time for its 2007 event.  With 6 ATM machine and 1 Cash and Deposit machine placed at prime locations throughout Global village, Emirates Bank hopes to meet all customers’ withdrawal needs.  Emirates Bank is also setting up a kiosk, manned with a strong meSALES team to promote and educate visitors on the various Emirates Bank Credit Card offerings.
