Emaar looking for investment opportunities abroad

Emaar will witness more expansion abroad in the future as the company is trying to secure the best investment options in different locations for its projects, especially in markets with huge opportunities, said Mohammed Al Abbar, director-general of Dubai Economic Development and chairman of Emaar Properties.


According to Khaleej Times, he noted that the Syria and Lebanon would be the target markets for his company’s activities after India, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Libya and Jordan.

 

In Saudi Arabia, Emaar is executing projects at the value of 12 million riyals. Its projects in India so far reached around  $2 billion compared to projects worth  $1 billion in the Egyptian market.
