ALBAWABA - Rumors surrounding Elon Musk's potential drug use are creating unease within the ranks of Tesla and SpaceX executives, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal.

The report suggests that certain individuals, breaching confidentiality agreements, have disclosed Musk's alleged substance abuse, expressing fears that it might negatively impact both Tesla and SpaceX.

The accusations against Musk point to instances of drug use at numerous parties he hosted globally. Witnesses who were privy to Musk's alleged drug use reportedly signed confidentiality agreements and handed over their phones before attending these events.

The Wall Street Journal's report notes a noticeable change in Musk's behavior during a speech to SpaceX employees in 2017. Witnesses described the CEO's speech as peculiar and inconsistent, leading to the SpaceX President's intervention, who reportedly took the microphone away from Musk. This incident raised suspicions about Musk's potential level of addiction.

Musk's attorney, Alex Spiro, responded to the allegations by confirming that Musk consistently undergoes drug tests, with all results indicating a clean record. Elon Musk has not yet issued a statement addressing the accusations.

The article emphasizes the potential breach of SpaceX's contracts with the Washington administration, totaling $14 billion, due to Musk's alleged illicit drug use. Musk's reported drug use during a live broadcast in 2018 sparked controversy and resulted in a temporary decline in Tesla's stock value.

As the wealthiest person globally, Musk has previously attributed some of his unconventional behaviors to sleep deprivation and bipolar disorder. He claimed to use prescription ketamine for managing depression.
