The world's richest man, Elon Musk, has once again dropped out of the $200 billion club as Tesla's shares tumbled almost 7%.
Although Musk's fortune dropped on Tuesday by 5.4% to 192.7 billion, he remains the world's wealthiest man.
According to Bloomberg Billionaire Index, the last time Musk's wealth dropped below the $200 billion mark was in March. However, this didn't last long as the markets promptly staged a rally which resulted in his net worth soaring to $288 billion on April 4.
It's worth noting that on that particular day, Musk announced acquiring around 9% of Twitter Inc., and few days later he proposed a takeover bid that was eventually approved by the social media platform's board.
