Dnata Cargo’s Express Handling Centre (EHC) recently celebrated a successful first year of operations, handling almost 1.6 million bags (or 29,410 tonnes) of express cargo in the 12 months of 2004. This reflects the burgeoning express and courier market in Dubai, and for Dnata it marks a 43 percent increase in express shipment volumes handled over the previous year.
Located in the Dubai Cargo Village, the EHC is one of few such purpose-built facilities dedicated to express and courier handling in the world.
