Egypt's exports to the United States increased by 21 percent in 2003 reaching $1.14 billion compared to $942 million in 2002, reported Al-Ahram.
Textile exports made up the majority of the earnings at $464 million, an 11.5 percent increase compared to figures for 2002.
Egypt is the 64th largest exporter to the United States. Exports include ready-made clothes, yarn and textiles, furniture, antiques, hand-made carpets, handcrafts, perfumes, frozen vegetables, ceramics and granite. — (menareport.com)
