Egyptian parliament faces economic impacts of September attacks

Addressing the Egyptian parliament, Prime Minister Atef Ubeid said he was committed to adopting new measures to contain the influence of the September 11 attacks on the national economy, reported Al-Hayat. The Prime Minister said that the September 11 attacks resulted in a nine billion Egyptian Pound (two billion dollar) gap between the government’s revenues and spending. — (menareport.com)
