A number of Egyptian companies won contracts to supply 250,000 tons of sugar to the Iraqi market, reported Al-Riyadh . These contracts, which are the first of their kind in the framework of the 11th phase of the Oil for Food Agreement, are valued at nearly 87 million euros ($76 million). The Director of the Egyptian Trade Center in Baghdad, Awny Hashem, anticipates other similar contracts to be signed by Egyptian companies in the near future. — (menareport.com)
