Egypt, Spain keen to enhance bilateral ties

The Egyptian ambassador in Madrid Hussein Aridi has recently said that the Prime Minister of the Spanish Catalonia province will soon head a business expedition in a visit to Cairo. The visit is planned for February 2002.  

 

The Spanish delegation is scheduled to attend an Expo Fair, which will display the products of nearly 100 Spanish companiea, in a bid to boost bilateral exchanges. In addition, the Spanish representatives will hold talks with Egyptian officials in order to further Spanish investments in Egypt.  

 

Earlier this year, it was reported that Egypt would set up a trade representation office in Barcelona, located in Catalonia province. The Barcelona office aims to enhance Egyptian exports to Spain and boost the activities of the Egyptian Trade Representation Office in Madrid. — (Mena Report)
