At a recent meeting in Cairo, the Egyptian-Lebanese Joint Commercial Committee discussed the possibility of establishing a company that will market the various agricultural and industrial products manufactured by both states.
The launch of such an enterprise aims at boosting bilateral exchanges within the framework of a free trade zone between the two countries, according to Al-Sharq Al-Awsat daily.
Such a plan would also further the production and exporting capacities of both Egypt and Lebanon, especially as far as the ceramics and pharmaceutical are concerned. ― (MENA Report)
