The region’s first mobile Information Technology (IT) training classroom is set to be a star attraction at Gitex, which opens in Dubai toady, according to a company press release. Showcased by CompuBus, the EduBus is a mobile luxury bus that has been customized to reproduce a state of the art training classroom environment.

“This unique facility will enable CompuBase to provide on-site, industry standard, IT training to government, corporate and educational institutions with remote locations, or buildings with restricted access,” said Ayman Khalil, managing director of CompuBase.

CompuBase’s innovative, wireless-network and soundproof classroom-in-a bus is equipped with the latest technology, to provide a mobile training center. The EduBus is sponsored by IBM. As part of its commitment to play an integral role in the United Arab Emirates (UAE)’s IT training sector CompuBase plans to fulfill and expand the IT training opportunities at remote locations.

“We have already received great demand for the EduBus from a number of customers and we expect continuing strong interest from organizations who find it difficult to allow staff to attend off site training programs and from those with limited facilities,” said Khalil.

An Al Bawardi Enterprises’ (AE) technology group company, CompuBase is a computer training company in the Middle East. It provides training courses in office automation, programming, networking and operating systems.

CompuBase is the only Microsoft Certified Technical Education Center approved by the UAE Ministry of Education and recently opened a purpose-built training center in Dubai’s Sultan Business Center. It is also an accredited certification center for the International Computer Driving Licenses (ICDL), the global competency standard for computer literacy. — (menareport.com)
