Out of 155 countries, the World Bank ranked the United Arab Emirates 69 in terms of ease of doing business in 2005. The study, distributed by Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) on Wednesday, described doing business in the UAE to be uncomplicated and the cost is less than the average paid in other nations in the Middle-East and North-Africa.
Licensing in the UAE require an average of 12 procedures throughout 125 days, while it requires 19.9 procedures and 216 days in other nations included in the study.
