E-Vision has announced the addition of the popular Dubai-based Channel 33 to its digital cable TV platform. A family entertainment channel dedicated to non-Arabic speaking audiences, Channel 33 offers a wide variety of programs, whilst respecting and preserving Arab culture.

Channel 33, Dubai Satellite Channel, Dubai Sports Channel, Sharjah Satellite Channel, Abu Dhabi TV, Abu Dhabi Sports, Ajman TV, Emirates, Dubai Business Channel, e-xplor, E-Vision's own documentary channel and e-junior, E-Visions own children's channel, are all targeted at offering entertainment and news to all the residents of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Established in 1978 as the first English language channel catering to the cosmopolitan society of the UAE, Channel 33's programs include: cartoons, documentaries, comedy, world news, business, series, feature films, mini-series, soaps and local items. Broadcasted 10 hours daily, Channel 33 can be found in E-Vision’s basic package, which is offered for as little as 50 Emirati Dinars ($15) a month, on a special promotion. It brings the number of channels offered in the basic package to nearly 70.

India's 24 hour news channel, Aajtak TV as well as ARY Digital and NHK World, have also been added to the E-Vision Basic package, while NHK Premium and Kairali have been added to the ‘A La Carte' package. As a result of the new additions, E-Vision's channel listings will be changing and subscribers should check their E-Vision channel list for up to date information on channel numbering.

E-Vision is currently available in most parts of Abu Dhabi and Dubai and selected areas of Sharjah, with expansion into other cities planned for the near future. — (menareport.com)
