Properties worth BD170 million have already been sold at the Durrat Al Bahrain resort complex, it was revealed Monday. The response has been good from other GCC countries and thus the Durrat Khaleej Al Bahrain Company is now planning to open offices in Riyadh and Kuwait.
All the 390 villas offered in first phase in the luxury residential resort under construction were sold last week.
According to GDN, the 460 luxury residential villas being offered in the second phase, scattered over four islands, have also attracted a large number of buyers from all the GCC states, said Durrat Khaleej Al Bahrain general manager commercial Jassim Al Jowder.
The sale of the second phase is expected to be closed Wednesday.
