Durrat Al Bahrain, the Kingdom’s largest planned residential, leisure and tourist destination, has awarded a BD1.879 million ($5 million) contract for the vacuum sewerage systems serving the Atolls and Petal islands.
According to Bahrain Tribune, the contract, awarded to Zohal Construction Company together with specialist designers and equipment suppliers Roediger of Germany, marks another step forward in the projects infrastructure. Zohal Construction is a leading Bahraini contractor for infrastructure and sewage treatment works and Roediger are major system designers and suppliers of this specialist equipment.
