Real estate technology provider Amlaki has merged with DragonShape Middle East and Asia, an Internet-based platform for facilities management for residential and commercial real estate.
With this merger, Amlaki becomes the only vertical software solutions provider for real estate management, supplying software in an ASP model in the region, and expands its market potential to $500 million.
The DragonShape application aims at making more efficient the day-to-day operations, repair and maintenance, and the various tenant services of a property. The concept originated in France with the intention of developing property management solutions with cultural specifications for the Middle East and Asia.
Established in 2000, Dubai Internet City (DIC)-based Amlaki is owned by a well-known group of investors mainly from the real estate sector.
DragonShape was created in 2001 by a group of Information Technology consultants specialized in Property Management. Their experiences combine over 12 years in database and infrastructure management, seven years in Internet application development and over three years in research and implementation of new technologies for the Real Estate industry. Their international exposure for this particular field includes the United States, France, Australia and Hong Kong. — (menareport.com)
