Dubai: Weekly value of land transactions

The total value of land transactions in Dubai last week peaked at Dhs643.10 millions  of which sales exceeded Dhs278 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs365.1 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 59 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the week, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Karama that was sold for Dhs19.8 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Muhaisanah Fourth acquired for the sum of Dhs14.7 million and another in Muhaisanah Fourth for Dhs14.6 million.

 

The Emirates Hills First area was the most active in terms of the week's sales, with some 18 transactions. Mirdif followed it with 9 sales.

 

During  the period, Muhaisanah Fourth recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs51.6 million, followed by the Emirates Hills First area, Dhs37.9 million, and Mirdif area, Dhs34.72 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 400333 sq ft in the Al Aweer Second area, which went for Dhs10 million. A 296116 sq ft plot in the Margham Area was acquired for Dhs3.6 million, while 160000 sq ft of Al Ruwayyah was disposed of for Dhs5 million.

 

During the period under review 31 mortgages worth Dhs222.11 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs105 million for an area at Al Muteena. There was another for Dhs71.5 million on an area in Al Garhoud.
