Dubai: Total value of land transactions

The total value of land transactions in Dubai yesterday peaked at Dhs214.46 millions  million, of which sales exceeded Dhs110 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs104.34 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 13 sale transactions were registered with the Department, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Raffa that was sold for Dhs52 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Al Barsha First acquired for the sum of Dhs17.25 million and another in Al Mararr for Dhs8 million.

 

The Mardaf area was the most active in terms of sales, with some 3 transactions. Al Rashidiya followed it with 2 sales.

 

During  the period, Al Raffa recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs52 million, followed by the Al Barsha First area, Dhs17.25 million, and Mardaf area, Dhs8.67 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 46052.59 sq ft in the Nad Al Shiba area, which went for Dhs5.07 million. A 23491 sq ft plot in the Al Raffa Area was acquired for Dhs52 million, while 20000 sq ft of Jumeira Third was disposed of for Dhs7.2 million.

 

During the period under review 6 mortgages worth Dhs103.34 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs60 million for an area at Rega Al Buteen. There was another for Dhs17 million on an area in Al Raffa and a further sum of Dhs10.22 million registered on an area of land sold in Al Barsha First.
