Dubai resident Fatimah Mohammad was arrested Tuesday, December 10, by US Customs agents in for allegedly exporting restricted military components to Pakistan. Mohammad, who also used the alias Yasmin Ahmed, was employed by Advanced Technical Systems in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), reported the New Haven Register

She will be indicted in a Connecticut federal court with charges of violating arms control laws as well as making a false statement when she supposedly told the State Department that the radar system components were destined for the Bangladesh air force in Asia when, in fact, they were funneled to Pakistan.

Also on Tuesday, a Tokyo machinery company, Seishin Enterprise, was raided on suspicion of exporting two ‘jet mills’ to an Iranian company without permission. The high-pressure air machines are primarily used in the chemical industry, but could also be used to process missile fuel. — (menareport.com)
