Dubai: REEF Mall launched

The Saif Al Ghurair Group, Wednesday officially welcomed the region’s media to REEF Mall, a major new neighbourhood shopping complex in Deira, next door to ‘Toys R Us’, in the very heart of Dubai's commercial district.


Built at a cost of Dhs 220 million, the two-level complex which extends over 250,000 square feet, has just under 100 stores.

 

Mr. Eisa Adam Ibrahim, Executive Manager of the Saif Al Ghurair Group and General Manager of REEF Mall, host of the mall’s first official tour, said: “We are proud to have launched this exciting retail project that brings many popular, home grown and well loved brands to Deira for the very first time.”

 

Ibrahim explained that REEF is positioned as a neighbourhood mall with a retail mix designed to complement rather than compete with current offerings in the area, thus bringing added convenience to the Deira neighbourhood.

 

The Landmark Group brings to REEF Mall its chain of leading outlets including Splash, Baby Shop and Shoemart; Home Centre and Lifestyle make their Deira debut at REEF. Fashion wear, perfume brands, watches, jewellery and electronics are among the other merchandise offered at the mall and stores include:  Bossini, Nine West, Damas, Lutfi Optics, Grand Optics, Karisma, Shoe Studio, The Athlete’s Foot, Fun City, Spring, AVCI Art Crystal, Jumbo Electronics, Plug In’s, Spring, Bench, Charles & Keith, and Al Maya Supermarket, among many other outlets.

 

In addition to Dome Café on the ground floor and Gloria Jeans and Dunkin Donuts coffee shops on the first floor, a dedicated food court on the upper level includes Chinese, Italian, Indian, Mexican and Lebanese foods, as well as Fun City; a total entertainment centre for children which is fully staffed by professional child-carers.
