Dubai-based mattress-maker Intercoil International LLC is scheduled to open its new 20 million Emirati dirham ($5.4 million) polyurethane foam manufacturing facility in the Al-Quoz industrial zone next year. The project’s contract was awarded to Dubai’s System Construct.
Earlier this year INTERCOIL signed an agreement with Ther-A-Pedic International to manufacture and promote the American firm’s range of mattresses in the Gulf markets. Established in 1974 as International Foam & Furnishing Company, Intercoil is the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) agent for Intercoil Sleep Systems. — (menareport.com)
