Dubai: Land transactions reported

The total value of land transactions in Dubai yesterday peaked at Dhs122.61 millions of which sales exceeded Dhs58 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs64.58 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 11 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the day, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Karama that was sold for Dhs15.5 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Al Nahda Second acquired for the sum of Dhs7.5 million and another in Eyal Nasser for Dhs6 million

 

During  the period, Al Karama recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs15.5 million, followed by the Um Al Sheif area, Dhs13.94 million, and Al Nahda Second area, Dhs7.5 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 20000 sq ft in the Muhaisanah First area, which went for Dhs3.1 million. A 17686 sq ft plot in the Um Al Sheif Area was acquired for Dhs5.13 million, while 15000 sq ft of Al Barsha Third was disposed of for Dhs2.55 million.

 

During the period under review 10 mortgages worth Dhs29.12 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs21.5 million for an area at Al Goze Industrial First. There was another for Dhs10.4 million on an area in Emirates Hills Second.
