The total value of land transactions in Dubai last week peaked at Dhs1.03 billions , of which sales exceeded Dhs405 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs634.14 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 97 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the week, the most valuable of which was a plot in Rega Al Buteen that was sold for Dhs67.8656 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Rega Al Buteen acquired for the sum of Dhs66.5856 million and another in Oud Metha for Dhs50.46525 million.

 

The Emirates Hills Third area was the most active in terms of the week's sales, with some 64 transactions. Emirates Hills First followed it with 8 sales.

 

During  the period, Rega Al Buteen recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs134.45 million, followed by the Emirates Hills Third area, Dhs106.85 million, and Oud Metha area, Dhs50.47 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 59600 sq ft in the Jumeira Third area, which went for Dhs18 million. A 41848.5 sq ft plot in the Nad Al Shiba Area was acquired for Dhs5.86 million, while 30000 sq ft of Mirdif was disposed of for Dhs12 million.

 

During the period under review 33 mortgages worth Dhs603.77 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs190 million for an area at Al Safouh Second. There was another for Dhs150 million on an area in Al Safouh Second
