The total value of land transactions in Dubai yastarday peaked at Dhs74.01 million, of which sales exceeded Dhs39 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs34.78 million, according to the Land Department.
A total of 7 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the day, the most valuable of which was a plot in Eyal Nasser that was sold for Dhs10 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Nad Al Shiba acquired for the sum of Dhs7.85288 million and another in Al Nahda Second for Dhs7.8 million
During the period, Nad Al Shiba recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs14.66 million, followed by the Eyal Nasser area, Dhs10 million, and Al Nahda Second area, Dhs7.8 million.
The biggest area sold was the 56134.23 sq ft in the Nad Al Shiba area, which went for Dhs7.85 million. A 42523.03 sq ft plot in the Nad Al Shiba Area was acquired for Dhs6.8 million, while 15000 sq ft of Al Nahda Second was disposed of for Dhs7.8 million.
During the period under review 4 mortgages worth Dhs17.78 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs17 million for an area at Oud Metha. There was another for Dhs13 million on an area in Wadi Al Amardi and a further sum of Dhs2.13 million registered on an area of land sold in Al Manara.
