The total value of land transactions in Dubai Sunday peaked at Dhs139.79 millions , of which sales exceeded Dhs98 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs42.17 million, according to the Land Department.
A total of 12 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the yesterday, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Murqabat that was sold for Dhs35 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Al Nahda First acquired for the sum of Dhs20.6 million and another in Al Nahda First for Dhs18.5166 million.
The Al Nahda First area was the most active in terms of the day's sales, with some 2 transactions. Mirdif followed it with 2 sales.
During the period, Al Nahda First recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs39.12 million, followed by the Al Murqabat area, Dhs35 million, and Mirdif area, Dhs5.82 million.
The biggest area sold was the 31255 sq ft in the Al Nahda First area, which went for Dhs20.6 million. A 30861 sq ft plot in the Al Nahda First Area was acquired for Dhs18.52 million, while 17650 sq ft of Nad Al Hamar was disposed of for Dhs2.12 million.
During the period under review 3 mortgages worth Dhs42.17 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs35 million for an area at Al Murqabat. There was another for Dhs6 million on an area in Jumeira Third.
