Dubai: Land deals on Sept. 13, 2006

The total value of land transactions in Dubai Wednesday peaked at Dhs151.22 millions , of which sales exceeded Dhs94 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs57.51 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 4 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the day, the most valuable of which was a plot in Oud Metha that was sold for Dhs90 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Emirates Hills First acquired for the sum of Dhs2 million and another in Hor Al Anz for Dhs.94 million.

 

The Emirates Hills First area was the most active in terms of the day sales, with 1 deal as well as Eyal Nasser with 1 sale.

 

During  the period, Oud Metha recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs90 million, followed by the Emirates Hills First area, Dhs2 million, and Hor Al Anz area, Dhs.94 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 26147 sq ft in the Oud Metha area, which went for Dhs90 million. A 8805.52 sq ft plot in the Emirates Hills First Area was acquired for Dhs2 million, while 1620 sq ft of Hor Al Anz was disposed of for Dhs.94 million.

 

During the period under review 3 mortgages worth Dhs44.51 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs39 million for an area at Al Nahda Second. There was another for Dhs13 million on an area in Al Karama.
