Dubai: Land deals reported

The total value of land transactions in Dubai April 18 peaked at Dhs137.75 millions , of which sales exceeded Dhs70 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs67.38 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 13 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of April 18 , the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Sabkha that was sold for Dhs31.2 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Al Khawaneej Second acquired for the sum of Dhs11.5 million and another in Al Mararr for Dhs7.878 million.

 

The Al Mararr area was the most active in terms of the April 18's sales, with some 2 transactions. Al Mezhar First followed it with 2 sales.

 

During  the period, Al Sabkha recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs31.2 million, followed by the Al Mararr area, Dhs13.58 million, and Al Khawaneej Second area, Dhs11.5 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 235115 sq ft in the Al Khawaneej Second area, which went for Dhs11.5 million. A 15000 sq ft plot in the Al Mezhar First Area was acquired for Dhs2.02 million, while 15000 sq ft of Nad Al Hamar was disposed of During the period under review 4 mortgages worth Dhs36.88 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs30 million for an area at Jumeira Second. There was another for Dhs25.93 million on an area in Hor Al Anz East.
