The total value of land transactions in Dubai last week peaked at Dhs848.04 millions , of which sales exceeded Dhs318 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs529.7 million, according to the Land Department.
A total of 47 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the week, the most valuable of which was a plot in Nad Al Hamar that was sold for Dhs73.30708 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Al Hamriya acquired for the sum of Dhs28 million and another in Al Buteen for Dhs22.5 million.
The Mirdif area was the most active in terms of the week's sales, with some 5 transactions. Jumeira First followed it with 3 sales.
During the period, Nad Al Hamar recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs73.31 million, followed by the Al Hamriya area, Dhs28 million, and Mirdif area, Dhs25.84 million.
The biggest area sold was the 261811 sq ft in the Nad Al Hamar area, which went for Dhs73.31 million. A 59474 sq ft plot in the Mirdif Area was acquired for Dhs13.68 million, while 55106.97 sq ft of Nad Al Shiba was disposed of for Dhs7.99 million.
During the period under review 30 mortgages worth Dhs415.93 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs150 million for an area at Trade Center First. There was another for Dhs87 million on an area in Al Safouh Second.
