Dubai: Land deals on May 15

The total value of land transactions in Dubai on May 15 peaked at Dhs420.79 millions , of which sales exceeded Dhs91 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs329.84 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 11 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of yesterday, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Khawaneej Second that was sold for Dhs34.8192 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Jumeira First acquired for the sum of Dhs33.1156 million and another in Mirdif for Dhs7.5 million.

 

The Emirates Hills First area was the most active in terms of the yesterday's sales, with some 4 transactions. Mirdif followed it with 2 sales.

 

During  the period, Al Khawaneej Second recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs34.82 million, followed by the Jumeira First area, Dhs33.12 million, and Mirdif area, Dhs9.5 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 561600 sq ft in the Al Khawaneej Second area, which went for Dhs34.82 million. A 47308 sq ft plot in the Jumeira First Area was acquired for Dhs33.12 million, while 17685 sq ft of Al Warqa Fourth was disposed of for Dhs1.95 million.

 

During the period under review 5 mortgages worth Dhs329.84 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs300 million for an area at Trade Center Second. There was another for Dhs19.48 million on an area in Ras Al Khor Industrial Second.
