Dubai: Land deals of last week

The total value of land transactions in Dubai last week peaked at Dhs730.66 millions , of hich sales exceeded Dhs319 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs411.87 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 41 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the week, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Goze Industrial Second that was sold for Dhs66 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Al Barsha First acquired for the sum of Dhs36.741 million and another in Emirates Hills Second for Dhs28.5 million

 

The Al Saffa Second area was the most active in terms of the week's sales, with some 5 transactions. Al Satwa followed it with 5 sales.

 

During  the period, Al Goze Industrial Second recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs66 million, followed by the Al Barsha First area, Dhs51.1 million, and Emirates Hills Second area, Dhs28.5 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 604625 sq ft in the Margham area, which went for Dhs6.1 million. A 40000 sq ft plot in the Al Goze Industrial Second Area was acquired for Dhs66 million, while 39040.37 sq ft of Nad Al Shiba was disposed of for Dhs5.46 million.

 

During the period under review 62 mortgages worth Dhs397.33 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs87.8 million for an area at Port Saeed. There was another for Dhs65.25 million on an area in Al Nahda First
