Dubai: Land deals last week

The total value of land transactions in Dubai last week peaked at Dhs817.12 millions of which sales exceeded Dhs303 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs514.28 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 37 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the week, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Murqabat that was sold for Dhs124.848485 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Al Safouh Second acquired for the sum of Dhs32.999997 million and another in Al Safouh Second for Dhs32 million.

 

The Emirates Hills First area was the most active in terms of the week's sales, with some 13 transactions. Mirdif followed it with 6 sales.

 

During  the period, Al Murqabat recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs124.85 million, followed by the Al Safouh Second area, Dhs65 million, and Emirates Hills First area, Dhs27.9 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 78802.58 sq ft in the Al Safouh Second area, which went for Dhs33 million. A 78293.23 sq ft plot in the Al Safouh Second Area was acquired for Dhs32 million, while 74430.98 sq ft of Nad Al Shiba was disposed of for Dhs20.85 million.

 

During the period under review 24 mortgages worth Dhs413.3 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs168.97 million for an area at Al Murqabat. There was another for Dhs68.28 million on an area in Oud Metha.
