The total value of land transactions in Dubai Tuesday peaked at Dhs182.56 millions , of which sales exceeded Dhs131 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs51.81 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 13 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the day, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Garhoud that was sold for Dhs100 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Al Suq Al Kabeer acquired for the sum of Dhs4.22 million and another in Al Muteena for Dhs4.1 million.

 

The Emirates Hills First area was the most active in terms of the day sales, with 5 transactions. Al Barsha Third followed it with 2 sales.

 

During  the period, Al Garhoud recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs100 million, followed by the Emirates Hills First area, Dhs10.2 million, and Al Barsha Third area, Dhs5.85 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 89099 sq ft in the Al Garhoud area, which went for Dhs100 million. A 15000 sq ft plot in the Al Barsha Third Area was acquired for Dhs2.85 million, while 15000 sq ft of Al Barsha Third was disposed of for Dhs3 million.

 

During the period under review 7 mortgages worth Dhs45.81 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs20.31 million for an area at Al Qusais First. There was another for Dhs17.2 million on an area in Al Qusais First.
