Minister of State for Financial and Industrial Affairs, and Chairman of Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB), Mohamed Khalfan Kharbash, has announced that the Bank is looking at the latest technologies during this year’s Gulf Information and Technology Exhibition (GITEX).
Kharbash was briefing the Crown of Dubai and Minister of Defense Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, on plans during his visit to the Dubai Islamic Bank pavilion at GITEX. He disclosed that DIB was looking to sign several important agreements with major multinational companies during GITEX. These agreements would further enhance automation of DIB’s operations and services, while reflecting positively on the service standards for our customers, making them easier and more convenient.
The launch of telephone banking, through Al-Islami Al-Mubasher and online banking with Al-Islami Online, has given DIB a competitive edge in the market of Islamic banking. With more initiatives planned for launch in the near future, DIB will be in a position to provide the most consumer and corporate banking services, on both a local and regional level. — (menareport.com)
