Remarking on the commendable project, Ahmad Mohammad Abdul Karim from Dubai Municipality said, “Dubai Municipality has always undertaken pioneer environment projects in the region that are in line with our objective of beautification and conservation of greenery across the emirate. We appreciate DIP’s initiative to plant trees on such a large scale inside the Park, and we will work closely with Ghantoot Landscaping to bring to fruition DIP’s efforts.”
Joan Moukarzel, Chief Operating Officer of Ghantoot Landscaping said, “We have consistently shown our commitment to promoting green space and conservation projects aimed at connecting the community with its environment. Today, when urbanization means disappearing green space, DIP is dedicated to increasing greenery in the Park and involving itself in many environment projects. We believe that protecting a tree is just as important as planting one, and are committed to follow DIP’s directives and utilize the fund to plant and preserve greenery in the Park.”
DIP consists of three business zones including the Industrial Zone, Commercial Zone and the Residential Zone. It also hosts leading international schools, thus making it like a mini-educational zone. The infrastructure facilities at the Park include an extensive and well-planned road network, electricity and water network, state-of-the-art telecommunications services, wastewater treatment plants and irrigation and fire fighting network.
