Director General of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) Abdul Rahman Ghanim Al-Mutaiwee, received the Director General of the Board of External Trade in Tanzania Emmanuel M. Buliki accompanied by Minister Counselor at the Tanzanian Embassy in Dubai, Mohamed Maharage Juma.
The Tanzanian Director General informed DCCI’s Director General about the arrangements being made to set up the Commercial African-Arab Exhibition. Its sixth session which is organized by the Foreign Trade Council in Tanzania, will take place in the Exhibition Area of Dar Es Salaam, the Tanzanian Capital from the December 4-14, 2003.
Buliki invited Al-Mutaiwee to attend the exhibition, and extended the invitation through the Director General of DCCI to the leading economic and commercial figures in Dubai. Participation in this sizable exhibition can accommodate participants from public sectors in addition to corporations and private sector companies.
The Commercial African-Arab Exhibition is held every two years and is attended by regional Arab and African organizations, headed by African Union Organization, and League of Arab States. The new session will be under the title “Free Trade … Participants in Development”.
Buliki clarified during the meeting that an investment gathering for the participants will exist alongside the exhibition, in addition to cultural and local tourism programs to welcome guests and make them aware of the national Tanzanian character. Buliki also stated that invitations had been sent to Ministers of Commerce in the concerned countries and that they had received a good positive response. — (menareport.com)
