Dubai-based Ninety Nine International will open stand-alone outlets in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for three Brazilian footwear and fashion brands at an initial investment of one million dollars. The company also hopes to take the brands to Jordan and Bahrain in the near future.
The announcement came on the final day of Motexha Spring 2003, the regional trade show for the fashion, textiles and retail industries, which concluded its four-day run at the Dubai International Exhibition Center on Thursday, May 29, 2003.
Shops dedicated to Brandili kids wear, Romanesk footwear and leather and Barred’s & Cache women’s wear will open in a Dubai shopping mall this summer, according to Jamal Tahhan, managing partner, Ninety Nine International.
"We hope to have at least 10 stores for each brand in the Middle East by the end of 2004," said Tahhan. "Launching the brands at Motexha was very fruitful as we made some excellent contacts."— (menareport.com)
