The Dubai Municipality has finalized designs for 10 residential complexes which will cater to low-income UAE nationals. According to Gulf News, construction of the residential buildings will begin in October in Al Quoz and Al Muhaisnah and will be completed by February 2008.
Abdul Rahman Sifai, Director of the Government Housing Department at the municipality, stated it was the first time that apartment blocks were to be built for nationals.
